The purpose of this Train the Trainers session is to educate, empower and prepare educators in De-escalation and the escalation stages and model targeted interventions for use with students who are at risk for aggression and challenging behaviors. It involves using para-verbal communication techniques, to diffuse, re-direct, or de-escalate a conflict situation. Educators will be prepared to leave this session with the ability to train their campuses in De-escalation.
